Tom Ehlers was working on the scene of a fire at a pallet storage facility when a 14k volt line fell and struck him on his helmet and shoulder. The electricity entered through Tom’s left arm and exited his right foot. This story is full of situational awareness lessons for first responders and anyone who works with or near electrical lines.
